I think I’ve found a candidate for ‘toughest turn’ in London. It’s not the most dangerous or complex turn, just a difficult manoeuvre.
Location: Covent Garden. Details: turning left from Great Queen Street onto Newton Street. There’s a speed bump right before the turn, making a left hand turn signal quite tricky. It’s made more challenging because there’s always plenty of pedestrians crossing Newton Street in both direction – but you can’t use the bell while making a left hand signal. You almost need to come to a complete halt to avoid hitting someone crossing the road.
