It’s my only way to thank Boris for his tremendous effort…
I had fruit salad for breakfast this morning. It involved kiwi fruit, pineapple, peach, water melon, apple, plus an additional banana I expertly sliced up with a black plastic knife from the canteen.

I am looking forward to my hopelessly indulgent “Kelloggs multi-grain cornflakes”
(regular Cornflakes aren’t good enough). They will be topped off with Asda’s finest, coldest semi-skimmed milk:
Followed by four slices of Hovis’ mouthwatering granary bread, lightly toasted:
and spread with some delicious lime and lemon marmalade I was given as a present:
All topped off with some beautiful Kenco Really Smooth instant coffee:

Sourdough toast with butter & jam (apricot), a piece of sharp cheddar, olives, grapefruit juice, and coffee.October 8, 2010 at 8:41 pm #79699
Oooh, I love sourdough bread! Got the taste for it in SF, and can rarely find it here. I did think about bringing some starter back and having a go at making it, but it sounded a bit too much like hard work.
