This bike route is one of several featured in the latest iPhone version of the free Spotcycle application.

    This latest version of Spotcycle for iOS allows both tourists and Londoners to discover the city from a different angle with thematic bike routes directly on their iPhones.

    Whether you’re a shopper, foodie, art enthusiast or just out for a stroll, there’s a bike route for everyone! Spotcycle lets you create your own bike routes according to your personal interests. The application uses your smartphone’s GPS function to record and map out your route on a Google map. Once mapped out, you can add points of interests to your bike route such as restaurants, museums, shops, parks, monuments, and other interesting places.

    If you are a social media enthusiasts, you can share your bike routes with your Facebook friends and Twitter followers. Spotcycle lets you post a link on your wall to a Web page mapping our your bike routes on a Google map. You ca also try out bike routes created by other members and use them as Barclays Cycle Hire biking tourism guides!
