Since Google Maps has pins/placemarks for the rail, tube, and bus stations in London, which are all public transport, it only makes sense that they should add pins for the Boris Bikes scheme to Google Maps. Right?
So, instead of just sending one email to Google and TfL, I thought I’d start a petition to get a bit more backing, and *then* submit it to Google and TfL so that hopefully they take a bit more notice.
So, if you agree, please go ahead and add your signature. And if you have any friends who use the scheme or even ones who don’t, pass the link along and get them to sign it too.

Good idea. I’ve signed it.
Or theres even the live KML feed (http://maps.google.com.au/?q=http://jog.by/chkml).
You can even download the kml file http://jog.by/chkml and throw it in google earth if you really want.
lol, I thought anyone could add these? Isn’t it a case of someone having the time to do it?
Not “officially” like the Tube stations and bus stops and so on are.
You can manually create a map with pins on it as @ozzage linked to, and you can (if you’re a business owner) add a business location, but I’m talking about the little icons, like these:
They’re added by Google, and I presume TfL have a say in it too, though I’m not 100% sure.
Hmm, I reckon TFL probably need to work with google for it to happen, as you say. I don’t think a petition will speed it up though
Not from Google, but there is this web map also from CycleStreets (us) :
