The % of faulty bikes calculation is wrong. It should be faulty bikes/total bikes (not total Dock qty) – 10.23%
The interesting stat to come out of this data is the docking points:bikes ratio. As I recall, at launch there were supposed to be 1.6 or 1.7 docking points for every 1 bike. We’ve now got 14386 docking points with 6606 bikes in circulation (including the faulty bikes). This gives a ratio of 2.18:1 meaning there aren’t enough bikes on the streets.
According to the 1.7:1 ratio, we’re 1856 bikes short of the supposed availability level of 8462.
